Emilio Aversano
 
He was born in Salerno, Italy. He studied piano at the conservatories of Salerno and Napoli where he graduated from with the highest marks. He was a student of Aldo Ciccolini, one of the most prominent pianists nowadays. He was the winner of many national and international piano competitions (Capri, “Napoli Prize”, Pavia, etc.) and he performed recitals for the musical Society Amici della Musica of Palermo, D. Scarlatti of Naples,in the Festival of Ravello with the New Italian Quartet . He played as a soloist with many symphony orchestras of Romania (in Bacau, Ploiesti, Vulcea, Arad), of Moldavia (Kisinev), of Bulgaria (Vidin, Pazardzhik).
In Italy he played with Pavia Symphony Orchestra and with “Philarmonia Mediterranea” of Cosenza. One of his most important concerts was with the Ra dio and TV Orchestra of Sidney. His CD has been recorded on live – Ciaikowsky`s piano concerto and Rachmaninov`s second piano concerto with Bacau Symphony Orchestra in Milan. The concert was organized by Milano Concert Society. Maestro Aversano was praised by 1600 standing ovations from Sala Verdi in the Conservatory of Milano.
The CD received very enthusiastic critical notes from important magazines in Italy: Gazzetta of Parma (Giampaolo Minardi), Classic Voice (Luca Chierici), “Il Sole 24 ore” (Carla Moreni), CD Classica (Riccardo Risaliti). In June 2004,in “Sala Verdi” of the Conservatory in Torino, he played on one and the same evening 3 concertos for piano and orchestra: Mozart K488, Ciaikowski No1, Rachmaninov No 2 .
This event was celebrated with a new DVD record. In December 2004 he played in the Cathedral of Novara - Concert k488 by Mozart and the second concerto by Liszt with Bacau Symphonic Orchestra. He played this program also in Milano, for “Serate Musicali” in December 2005, with the same Orchestra. In this occasion he recorded a DVD and “Suonare News”, the most important specialized magazine of music in Italy, dedicated a whole page to the concert and to Aversano’s musical activities.
In October 2005 he played for the “Salzburger Schlosskonzerte” in the “Marmor Saal” of the Schloss Mirabell of Salzburg and in September 2006 he played for the International Club “Chateau S.Anne” in Bruxelles. In May 2008 he performed four concertos on one and the same evening in “Teatro Dal Verme” in Milano : Mozart k488, Ciaikowski No1, Liszt No 2 ,Rachmaninov No2. “The “Corriere della sera” wrote : “Never ever has a similar pianist been seen: memory, technique,virtuosity, nice and brilliant sound…an “Emperor.”
He teaches piano in Conservatorio of Vibo Valentia. He also studied Modern Literature at the University of Salerno where he graduated from with the best marks for his thesis “Dante and the Music”. The pianist has special attention to the chamber music. He has been playing with the violinist Kameliya Naydenova for two years.

Borned in Veliko Turnovo ,Bulgaria, in 1984, she started playing the violin at the age of five with K.Stephanova. She studied violin at the National School of Arts “Prof. V.Stoyanov” in Rousse with A. Popova and N. Stoyanova, at the National Academy of Music “Prof. P. Vladigerov”in Sofia where she was a student of Prof.Stoika Milanova,and in Berlin - under the guidance of Prof.Marianne Boettcher.She partecipated in the Master Classes of Prof. Vanya Milanova, Kurt Tompson,Ifrah Neiman,Liviu Prunaru, Mincho Minchev and Yuri Zhislin.
In December 2008 she was accepted at the Royal Academy of Music in London for Master of Arts Programme.
In 2004 she was employed as a leader of second violins by NewSymphonyOrchestra,Sofia, conductor Rossen Milanov, for two years.She began her solo career playing with different ensembles in many European cities, such as: Sofia, Veliko Turnovo, Rousse (Bulgaria), Middelburg (the Netherlands), Salerno, Napoli, Tropea (Italy).
Some of her recent solo performances are as it follows: Sept. 2007- Wieniawski Concerto No2 with Sofia Symphony Orchestra,Italy ; Beethoven Romance with Vidin State Philharmonic Orchestra, conductor Ovidiu Balan,Bulgaria;April 2008- Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso of C. Saint Saens in “Ateneu” , Bacau (Romania) with Bacau Philarmonic Orchestra, conducted by Valentin Doni ; August 2008- Czardas by Monti - with Ploiesti Philharmonic Orchestra-Romania,and two more performances of the same repertoire in Vibo Valentia (Italy);Sept.2008- Sinfonia Concertante , Mozart,with the Orchestra of Parma University conducted by Luca Aversano,and in duo with the violist Iakov Zatz(former first viola of Moscow Soloist,conducted by Yuri Bashmet). While still a young student Miss Naydenova won many prizes from national music competitions. The most important was in 1999, Plovdiv Competition for Instrumentalists and Singers-special pri ze.
